We like to share that Infinecs Systems has been officially selected as one of the NIMP 2030 MBP Champions to accelerate growth in Semiconductor IC Design. Infinecs' CEO, Mr. Kalai Selvan received an award from the International Trade and Industry Minister and the Prime Minister on the recent NIMP Launch. As a MBP Champion and also representing local SMEs, Infinecs will have a significant role, acting as key suppliers of local content, providing value in supply chains and contributing to overall industrial development.

The New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030) was launched by the Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry (MITI) on September 1st, 2023.

Nine Mission-based Projects (MBPs) have been identified as catalytic projects to create the initial momentum of the masterplan’s implementation. The MBP champions were rigorously selected to ensure they have the stature to rally the whole industry, and the necessary capacity to scale up to create impactful spillovers, particularly via the inclusion of SMEs.

Infinecs Systems recently signed an MoU with University of Malaya (UM). The establishment of the MoU marks a significant milestone that demonstrates the strong relationship between Infinecs and UM. Through this collaboration, both parties will support each other in activities that include sponsorship of PhD students, research and also innovation. The MoU was held on 9th August 2023 at the Faculty of Engineering in the presence of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) for Research and Innovation Professor Ir. Dr. Shaliza Binti Ibrahim, Head of Strategic Global Alliances Division Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sheena Kaur and Director of CRI4.0 Professor Ir. Dr. Harikrishnan A/l Ramiah.

Infinecs Systems and Multimedia University (MMU) entered into a MoU to strengthen support for MMU's programmes, including iCadet, industrial training, and Final Year Project (FYP) topics. Infinecs underlines its desire to collaborate on cooperative research projects with MMU. Collaboration could take the form of Master's and PhD student funding, with research topics in Analogue Mixed Signal and RISC-V.
