Expertise in RTL2GDS flows, Physical design, Characterization, IO IBIS Modelling, EDA Development & Qualification of PDK, Analog Design & Layout, Power Analysis and experienced in Advanced process nodes of TSMC, Intel, Global Foundry & Samsung. Specializing in Business Development, Project Delivery, and Team building across APAC regions
Worked on different Industry Applications like Extensive experience in Automobile Sensors, NFC, Credit Card Chips, 5G Chips, PC Processors, Microcontrollers, Health Monitoring Chips, Hearing Aids, and High-Speed IO’s. Successfully delivered 20+ tape-outs across various technology nodes. She holds a Master Degree in VLSI & Robotics & Bachelor’s in Engineering Electronics & Communications.
Demonstrated success in driving strategic growth initiatives, delivering complex technical solutions, and building high-performing teams to meet evolving business needs. Built and led a technical team across India, Malaysia, and Japan ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction.

Sreejith Sukumaran

Vice President & Head of India Operations

Has more than 24 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry focusing mainly on ASIC backend/Front end design.
Capable of Building Offshore Design centers for different Clients in ASIC front end/Backend Design.
Masters Degree in Digital Electronics from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Previous Experience: Intel Corporation, Infineon Technologies, Attel R&D India, Wipro and Altran.

Yvone Foong

Director

Yvone Foong is Executive Director, Investments at BlueChip Venture Capital, a venture capital firm specializing in semiconductor technology investments.

She previously founded and served as CEO of Chektec, an award-winning enterprise SaaS platform for operational value-chain traceability and sustainability. Her technology experience also includes developing applications licensed to Samsung for its mobile and Smart TV platforms.

Yvone holds a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California (USC).

Kalai Selvan Subramaniam

CEO & Co-Founder

Kalai Selvan Subramaniam has more than 34 years of experience in the electronics/ semiconductor industry, holding leadership positions in Technology Start-Ups and Tier-1 Semiconductor MNCs.

His career began at Motorola Semiconductors, where he spent over a decade working in Austin, Texas and Singapore. Kalai then pioneered the IC design capabilities for embedded and security memory SoCs at a Malaysian startup called My-MS. Following this, he spent over ten years at Intel Corp. in Oregon and Penang, holding various leadership and management positions.

Kalai holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a Master of Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He’s a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and actively contributes to its Malaysian section and chapters.

Kalai served as Chair of the Malaysia IC Design Association (MICDA) and continues to participate in national electronics industry development forums and committees, particularly those focused on advancing the fields of semiconductor and electronics design. Kalai also lends his expertise by serving on the Industry Advisory Panels of several local universities.

Dato’ Seri Tan, Eng Kee

Dato’ Seri Tan Eng Kee, a pioneering Malaysian entrepreneur, is the Co-Founder and CEO of Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd. Since its establishment in 1997, he has driven Greatech’s growth into a global leader in automation solution providers. With a career spanning over 30 years, Dato’ Seri Tan began his entrepreneurial journey at 23 in the tooling and molding industry. Today, Greatech holds a strong market presence across Southeast Asia, the USA, and Europe, with a market capitalization of approximately RM6.0 billion.

Under Dato’ Seri Tan’s visionary leadership, he is committed to positioning Penang as a world-class automation hub through various initiatives under Greatech, contributing significantly to Malaysia’s industrial advancement. His achievements in the industry are evident through his significant contributions, including serving as a Board Member of the Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA) for 2024, a Special Advisory Panel Member for the National Semiconductor Strategic Taskforce (NSSTF) by the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry since March 2024, and Director of Penang Tech Centre since February 2024.

Dato’ Cheok Lay Leng

Chairman & Co-Founder

LL has over 35 years in the semiconductor industries, from design engineering, platform technologies, marketing, business operations and chief executive for technology start-ups until a brief retirement in 2016. LL began his career at Intel that spanned 18 years on microprocessors, microcontroller architectures, network and communications technologies and as a general manager for Communication Infrastructure Group, He was a member of the Intel team that developed the original Universal Serial Bus (USB v1.0) technology and was involved in pioneering software defined networking (SDN) technologies. He was instrumental in setting up the first design center for 8-bit microcontrollers in Penang (1991) and subsequently initiated the second design center for advanced network processor design (2001) while managing several hundred millions USD business operations for Intel Corporation. He holds one US patent in Universal Serial Bus technology.

With varied interests, he has served on technical advisory, academic board, and a guest lecturer for the technopreneurship workshops by The International Science, Technology and Innovation Center for South-South Cooperation (ISTIC), under the auspices of UNESCO held in Africa, Middle East, South America and Caribbean countries in 2010-2017. He sits on the board of public listed and private companies, and non-profit organizations.. He is now serving a statutory body under the Penang State government, since 2017.
